TEN THINGS FOR BLESSED DAY

 1. Today I will not strike back 1 Corinthians 1:35, “Love, it is not rude, it is not self-seeking. It is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” If someone is rude, impatient and unkind to me, I will not respond in alike manner.

2. Today I will ask God to bless my enemy John 3:16, “For God so love the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” If I come across someone who treats me harshly or unfairly, I will quietly ask God o bless that individual. I understand the enemy could be a family member, neighbor, co-worker or stranger.

3. Today I will be careful about what I say 1 Corinthians 1:37, “Love, it always protects, always trusts, always hoes, always perseveres”. I will carefully choose and guard my words, being certain I do not spread gossip, slander or malign anyone in any way.

4. Today I will go the extra mile John 15:3, “Greater love has no one than this, that he lays down his life for his friends.” I will find ways to help share the burden of another person. I will find ways to make life more pleasant

5. Today I will forgive “God is love.” I will forgive any hurts or injuries that come my way. I will also work to forgive injuries that have been inflicted upon me in the past.

6. Today I will do something nice for someone 1 Thessalonians 1:2-3, “We always thank God for all of you, mentioning you in our prayers.” We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hoe in our Lord Jesus Christ. I will reach out anonymously and bless the life of another person.

7. Today I will raise the spirits of someone who is discouraged John 7:37, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to Me and drink.” My smile, my words, my expressions of support, can make the difference to someone who is wrestling with life.

8. Today I will treat others as I wish to be treated Isaiah 3317, “Your eyes will see the King in his beauty and view a land that stretches afar.” I will practice the golden rule; do unto others as you would have them do unto you, with everyone I encounter.

9. Today I will nurture my body I will eat less. I will eat only healthy foods. I will thank god for my body.

10. Today I will grow spiritually Psalms 63:34, “Because Your love is better than life, my lips will glorify You. I will praise You as long as I live, and in Your name I will lift up me hands.” I will spend a little more time in prayer today, I will begin something spiritual or inspirational today. I will find a quite place (at some pints during this day) and listen to God’s voice!

After a couple of days to cool off, Lamar Odom, through his agent, made it clear he was still angry about being included in the vetoed Chris Paul trade, and he wanted to be dealt. Kupchak got the vibe this feeling wasn’t about to pass, so he made some calls to deal Lamar ASAP. Why the hurry? The desire to maintain flexibility moving forward, and he felt this could be damaged by waiting, then being forced to take on undesirable players to match salaries. Dallas had the space to absorb LO, so that was that. Was it easy to move Lamar to a contender within the conference? No, but the decision was deemed necessary, given the circumstances.

“You have to make a judgment,” Kupchak said. “Is he going to carry this with him for the rest of the season? Is he not going to play as well? Are you going to have an opportunity [to trade him] that we have now? We made that decision.”

I still believe Lamar would have gotten over it with a little time. This trade still sucks.
